MANAGEMENT OF DEMENTIA: A REVIEW

Abstract

Reviewed here are the main practical measures of importance in the management of dementia, and issues raised by the care of the dementod at home and in institutions Relevant services and strategies are described, as is research on their operation, particularly insotor as they help to relieve strain in those who care for the demented. Questions of resources, advocacy and education are briefly considered.
