Genetics and Polymorphism: Class II Antigens

Abstract
Several comprehensive reviews of HLA-D region genes have been published recently.15 This short paper summarises some of the main points that have emerged from recent gene cloning work. It covers the organisation, structure and polymorphism of the HLA class II genes.
